Paula is a gifted teacher.  She has a deep knowledge of the course material based not only upon her extensive study, but also upon her personal experiences.   She freely shares stories from her own life as examples that bring the value of the concepts to easily relatable scenarios.

“I knew nothing about chair yoga when I came to yoga class, but I did know that I had to start to get myself into shape. First of all, I was sitting at home during Covid-19 and not going out much, so I realized that this was a problem.  Secondly, I have arthritis in my knees and wanted to start to strengthen my legs because I was having difficulty getting up and down and other aspects of movement, also candidate for knee replacement.  So yoga seemed to be the right thing at the right time, and I couldn’t pass up the Zoom classes.   Now since being in Paula Saddler’s wonderful class I have made the decision to go for my first knee replacement in one month.


I don’t even know where to begin telling you how much I enjoyed Paula’s class and looked forward to it every week, faithfully which I have never done with any exercise class. Paula’s knowledge and love for yoga really shined through with each class and I found it so refreshing and calming for me.  I feel that I had a chance to learn a bit about relaxation and fitness.  Paula worked gingerly to help me get stronger and she showed me ways of relaxing that I never knew. She is very kind and patient and understanding about people’s needs and what we are capable of doing with our physical restrictions. We worked well together, and I am going to try to continue all that she has taught me to do.  Thanks to Paula’s patience and soft ways I truly enjoyed this class and look forward to starting again, I guess after my surgery and recovery Yoga will be just what I need and look forward to.
